Another proud introduction…
Jill was born in Wisconsin in the U.S. and resides there during summer vacations. She has two adult children; her daughter, Ali, is also an educator in Honduras, and her son, Ian, graduated from medical school and is now doing his residency in Michigan.
Jill is an international educator who writes about her personal experiences living and working in schools and countries around the world. She presently lives in her seventh country, Honduras, with her husband, Dan, and her Yorkie-Poo, Mickey. While working as an elementary principal, Jill also writes, travels, takes photos of the beautiful people and countries of Latin America, and muddles her way through the Spanish language. Jill loves her life as an international educator, and most days, feels like she is living her dream.
Jill is the author of two published books: HERE WE ARE & THERE WE GO based on her first 10 years of living and working in four different countries with her husband and two kids in tow. Here recently published book, KIDS, CAMELS, & CAIRO, is based on her two years of working as an international educator in a Muslim school in Cairo, Egypt. For several weeks now this book has been listed on Amazon’s list of first 20 travel books on Cairo, and is presently #14.
